# Complete Your KYC

**Step 1:** Go to the [Affyn marketplace](https://marketplace.affyn.com/) and login to your Affyn account

**Step 2:** Click on the profile icon at the top right corner and go to `Account Settings`

**Step 3:** Click on `Verify my KYC`

**Step 4:** If you have not done so previously, you will be prompted to fill in your user details. Fill in your details, click the checkbox and select `Continue`. Otherwise, skip to **Step 5**

Please take note that users from [restricted territories](https://docs.affyn.com/en/about/user-restrictions) and users below the age of 18 are not eligible and will not be able to proceed.

**Step 5:** Select your residency status, then select `CONTINUE`

**Step 6:** Select your document's issuing country. Select an option from the list of accepted documents. This is the document that you will be submitting for the KYC check.

**Step 7:** Follow the instructions on screen. You may choose to continue on your phone.

**Step 8:** Congratulations! Your KYC check is submitted.

**Step 9:** You can check your KYC status at any time under your [Account settings](https://marketplace.affyn.com/account)
