Affynity Power
Affynity Power (AP) is a unit of measurement used to determine the rewards that participants of the $FYN Hodl Program can receive. A user's AP is derived from the amount of $FYN pledged and its duration, based on the following formula:
AP = $FYN pledged * Base Power per $FYN * Loyalty Multiplier
Note: Affynity Power is a value derived from, and not the same as the number of $FYN pledged
Hodl Levels
Users gain Hodl levels as they pledge more $FYN into the program. Each Hodl level provides a higher Base Power per $FYN.

Loyalty Multiplier
Users begin accumulating Loyalty Multiplier points once they successfully pledge $FYN into the program. The Multiplier starts at 1 and increases linearly based on the duration of $FYN pledged until it reaches a maximum cap of 1.4 after 365 days.
Users unlock different Loyalty Ranks based on the average number of days pledged.

Pledging Additional $FYN
Whenever users pledge additional $FYN, their Loyalty Multiplier will be prorated based on the amount and timing of the new pledge, taking into account both the new pledge and the amounts and durations of any existing pledges.
Detailed Proration Mechanism
Scenario 1
Bob pledges 25,000 $FYN into the $FYN Hodl Program. After 365 days, he reaches the maximum value of 1.4 Loyalty Multiplier points. Now at 365 days, he pledges an additional 50,000 $FYN. A calculation is made to determine the average number of days pledged based on weighted average.
Average Days = $FYN Pledged / Total New Pledged $FYN x Pledged Duration
In this example, Bob has an existing pledge of 25,000 $FYN, a new total pledged amount of 75,000 $FYN and a pledged duration of 365 days. Using the above formula, Bob now has a new average number of days pledged of approximately 121 days.
121.67 Days = 25k $FYN / (25k + 50k $FYN) * 365 Days
His Loyalty Multiplier after the proration is now 1.13, based on the new average number of days pledged.
Scenario 2
Bob continues to pledge $FYN for another 244 days and reaches an average number of days pledged at 365 days, giving him 1.4 Loyalty Multiplier points. While he has now reached the maximum capped value, his average number of days pledged does not have a limit and continues to accrue.
After another 300 days, he now has an average number of days pledged of 665 days. He then decides to add an additional pledge of 50,000 $FYN. Another calculation is now performed:
399 Days = 75k $FYN / (75k + 50k $FYN) * 665 Days
Bob now has a new average number of days pledged at 399 Days after the proration. The value of his Loyalty Multiplier has not changed and remains at 1.4.
FAQ
How do I pledge my $FYN?
You can pledge $FYN on the $FYN Hodl Program webpage by interacting with a smart contract. Note that there is a minimum requirement of 25,000 $FYN for the first pledge.
Can I un-pledge from the program at any time?
Yes, you can choose to un-pledge from the program at any time, but only the full amount can be un-pledged. Doing so will reset your Loyalty Multiplier to 1.
Can I make additional pledges to increase my Affynity Power?
Yes, you can make additional pledges at any time to increase your Affynity Power. Note that when you pledge additional $FYN, your Loyalty Multiplier will be prorated based on the amount and timing of the new pledge, taking into account both the new pledge and the amounts and durations of any existing pledges.
